Smartest Characters in Zom 100 : Bucket List of the Dead is an anime adaptation of the manga series written by “Haro Aso”.
The story of this anime follows a 24 years old boy name Akira Tendo who works as an office worker of ZLM. He discovered himself that he was trapped in a routine and meaningless life. He was losing his motivation since he is disillusioned with his life.
One day, when a zombie apocalypse caused by the experimental bio weaponary unexpectedly strikes Tokyo and then after everything was turned upside down.
Instead of being depressed, Akira saw this as an opportunity to experience his life to the fullest. He decides to make a Bucket List of everything he wants to do before dying in order to not only experience it firsthand but also to show that he is still alive and well. This decision is made with a newfound sense of purpose.
With the happy company of his friend, Kencho, Akira embarks on a number of exciting and frequently bizarre excursions throughout the zombie-infested city. Their pranks range from simple pleasures like eating at expensive restaurants for free to more extravagant pursuits like going on roller coasters and visiting haunted houses. Akira and Kencho come across other survivors who have their own motivations for surviving as they make their way through the dangerous streets swarming with flesh-eating zombies. Along the journey, they forge odd alliances, face their own anxieties, and learn the importance of friendship and the human spirit’s ability to persevere in the face of difficulty.
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 :
𝗔𝗸𝗶𝗿𝗮 𝗧𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗼𝘂 :
Akira Tendou is the main character of this series. He is a fit young man with short scruffy black hair and matching color eyes. He wears a green jacket over a white long-sleeved shirt, black pants, and multi-colored shoes.
Initially, Akira was very optimistic, with dreams and bright world views. After some years of working in the black company, he has become highly stressed and tired, nearly suicidal. When the zombie apocalypse has started, he experienced a great sense of freedom and tried to experience everything in his life.
As a rugby player, Akira is in peak physical condition and being able to easily outrun a pack of zombies and jump obstacles without losing momentum. He is easily capable of climbing down buildings without any injury.
𝗦𝗵𝗶𝘇𝘂𝗸𝗮 𝗠𝗶𝗸𝗮𝘇𝘂𝗸𝗶 :
Shizuka Mikazuki is also a main character of this series. She is a former overseas company accountant and a survivor that Akira Tendou first met while searching for supplies.
Shizuka is an attractive young woman with mid-neck length dark plum-colored hair that has long bangs hanging on the right side. She wears a multi-colored overcoat over a pink and white sports bra with pale gray stripes top and matching color short-shorts, indigo leggings and shoes.
Shizuka is a reserved, logical, aloof and blunt young woman who is a fast thinker and she is knowledgeable in various types of science.
Shizuka has a lot of energy and stamina due to her intense exercise and balanced diet. She can pedal a bike away from zombies fast enough, even when the bike was carrying a lot of supplies. She was also able to throw Akira to the ground as to protect him from the uncontrolled truck.
𝗞𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗼 𝗥𝘆𝘂𝘂𝘇𝗮𝗸𝗶 :
Kenichiro Ryuuzaki who is commonly known as ‘Kencho’. He is a former real estate salesman and an old friend of Akira Tendou.
Kencho is a tall, handsome and muscular tan-skinned young man with black hair that he later dyed blonde along with his eyebrows with the sides shaven and left undyed where two long dangling strands are left framing his face, energetic-looking olive-brown eyes framed with thick eyebrows while he has sharp lower eyelashes that gives him a lively and good-natured appearance and he has a athletic and well-built physique.
During one of Akira Tendou’s flashbacks, it is shown that Kencho is a lively and energetic young man who is good at communicating and making conversations with others that he envied due to his seemingly successful life, having been working as a real estate agent after college.
𝗕𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘅 𝗔𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗵𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗿 :
Beatrix Amerhauser who was also called as ‘Bea’ is a former college student from Germany who travels to Japan in hopes of eating the best sushi ever made.
Beatrix is a young woman with thigh-length blond hair that is tied up in a ponytail with shoulder-length hair strands split on either side, clear turquoise-blue eyes and large breasts.She usually wears a white tank top that exposes half her chest and dark-purple baggy pants with a full hip armor attached to it. She also holds a katana , a bow and a pike.
She is strong enough to cut zombies in half and she has a great aim being able to land perfect shots at zombies head with an arrow. She is also capable of fighting against other weapon wielding foes, such as when she fought a woman wielding a chainsaw.
𝗚𝗼𝗻𝘇𝗼𝘂 𝗞𝗼𝘀𝘂𝗴𝗶 :
Gonzou Kosugi is a character of this series who was the former team leader. Gonzou is a fat middle aged man with an almost pompadour haircut.When working at the company, he used to wear a purple shirt, green tie and blue jeans.After the outbreak, he donned a new jacket to advertise his new company.
Gonzou was the boss of the department in which Akira worked, which gave him authority over his workers. Gonzou used psychological and emotional abuse to routinely destroy his workers’ self-esteem in order to make them servile and dependant on him.

One of the smartest characters in zom 100 is Shizuka Mikazuki as she is very smart and resourceful as she watches zombie flicks to get the idea how to survive during zombie apocalypse and she has fitted a web camera on her bike and synced it to her phone, so that she can monitor outside her current location whilst getting supplies.
